Darkroom Printing Workshop

Experience the process of analog printing at Photo Spectrum.

This workshop will walk you through the basic operations of color darkroom printing (RA-4 Chromogenic prints).

From framing up your negative to getting a final print, you will learn all you need to know to start printing in the darkroom.

The workshop will guide you through the process of finding the correct exposure and color balance, resulting in several final prints, up to 12x16in. for you to take home.

This workshop will also open up access to renting out the darkroom at Photo Spectrum, allowing you to further enhance your printing skills and print on your own!

Time: Approximately 2.5 hours

Capacity: 2 people

Results: 2-4 prints

Requirements:

  1. At least one roll of developed color negative film (C-41/ECN-2)

  2. Love for analog photography :)
